Embroidered Parrothead "Pirate" Leather Camera Strap
Way back in 2002, Action Custom Straps made the first "Pirate" guitar strap for Jimmy Buffett that you could still see in use at every concert when he played "A Pirate Looks at Forty", until April 2015, when Jimmy got a new "Pirate" strap and the old one was signed by Jimmy and auctioned off for charity. Fastforward to 2014; we get our first request for a "Pirate" camera strap! So, here it is! This handcrafted camera strap features soft black and red cabretta leather. And embroidered on the inlay of red cabretta leather are pirate flags, the "Jolly Roger", from one end to the other, just like the ones on Jimmy's new guitar strap.
Each piece of the "Pirate" custom camera strap is carefully hand or die cut. We start with the black cabretta leather body, then inlay the strip of embroidered red cabretta, hand match cabretta end pieces that have Fastex TM quick releases finish the construction with a suede light cowhide shoulder pad. Since cabretta is used for the inlay and body, this is one of the softest, most comfortable custom embroidered camera straps you will find. The final step comes when each "Pirate" custom camera strap is sewn with a black stitch.
Each "Pirate" custom camera strap comes complete with three sets of tough top grain cowhide end pieces in different lengths that can be changed to adjust the overall length of the strap up to 4". And the longest set of end pieces, when used with the extra quick release set that is included with each strap, form a hand strap.
Our "Pirate" custom camera strap is 1 7/8" wide and is available in short (adjusts from 32" to 34" to 36"), medium ( adjusts from 38" to 40" to 42"), and long (adjusts from 44" to 46" to 48"). But since we handcraft each one as ordered, if you need a custom length, just let us know!
Included is a set of split rings for post mount cameras and camera protectors for those rings.
